Earn money for your group or organization by volunteering to pour alcohol samples at the Wine Beer & Food Festival. Sign up for multiple shifts or get family and friends to volunteer to earn even more money. This could be your largest fundraiser of the year! Each volunteer will also receive 1 ticket to the Festival or Celebration Cinema gift card.

Festival Ambassadors/Volunteers must be 18 years or older. A minimum of 60 hours (for the group) is required to receive compensation. Be sure to contact volunteer@showspan.com before signing up for any shifts.

Waiver for 2026 Wine, Beer & Food Festival

All festival pourers are required to view the training materials BEFORE the day of their shift.

All Ambassadors are an extension of the Festival team and, therefore, a reflection on the image of the Convention/Arena Authority, and our community.

Drinking during a shift is strictly prohibited. Alcoholic beverage samples or gifts may not be accepted at any time before, during, or after a volunteer shift. If any volunteers are seen sampling products, they will be asked to leave, and payment will not be distributed.

Volunteers/Ambassadors are not allowed to serve alcohol to fellow volunteers and may not serve to volunteers who have finished their shift, but are still in uniform. Ambassadors may attend the event AFTER their shift with a valid admission ticket.

Underage drinking is strictly prohibited. Grand Rapids Police Department will be called if this occurs.
